Clicking sound when printing

  • Hello,

when printing with my Hephestos 2 every 2-9 seconds (seems randonly dispributed) a clicking sound emerges from the print head and a "shock wave" is palpable on the filament string.
Sometimes the filament has flow problems and the clicking is more intense. Seems like a transport problem.

Can you please advise me what might be wrong and how to fix it? Thanks.

  • Hi , that's common if the nozzle is not clean of if your printing temperature is to low.
For print fast better is to set the temperature at 230 degrees for PLA from BQ.
And , never forget to clean the nozzle !

    Cheers.
